The "Blessed Valley" located at 2350m above sea level, near the village of Hambela, in the Guji region of southern Ethiopia is one of the highest regions in the world for the cultivation of coffee.
430 coffee farmers from this region bring their harvest to the village of Buku Sayisa, where their perfectly ripe coffee cherries are dried. At this altitude, the drying of the cherries to the appropriate degree of humidity must be very thorough and can take up to twenty days.
This natural coffee is particularly mild. It captivates with its tropical notes of lychee and pineapple, and the depth conferred by its jasmine florality. Its texture is milky. A ginger-cinnamon side completes to convince us that this coffee is simply de-li-cious.
